New Idea for Fender Lights Opinions?

Pete you hit the nail on the head that's what I want to do. My main concern is cutting into a perfectly good fender and having it be perfect. Wiring would not be an issue since I have the turn signal wiring just disconnected and taped up.

Its a side marker wiring .

It does not blink there fore it does not motion or signal what direction you are turning. Its always on when the lights are on .


Anyway the Jag and the BMW are perfect examples on how I would also do it if I really wanted to.

I like the first pic you posted. Definately looks European. As does the LS. I say +1...DO IT!

What about something like this?

That is what I had mentioned earlier in the thread. Replace the moulding on the fender with a light or replace the LS from 00-02 with light. I found a light froma Volvo that looked like it would fit.

The lens would have to be white or smoked and the bulb amber for it to look right I think.

The Volvo has a smoke tint and you could use a LED bulb in clear that blinks amber.

The wires that are hanging are the turn signal wires. I have a 2001 which I put the 2004+ LSE bumper on it. When I did that I lost my urn signals, side markers. So I now have the wires left from those. They come on with the parking lights, but do flash with turn signals.

The side markers I bought are clear with an amber bulb
