I am new to this site but not new to Mark VIII's. I have had my 97 LSC for 6 years on Jan 10th. I heard about this site from another mark site so I thought I would come check it out. Reading throught the first few pages of posts, there are a lot of familiar names. Here is a link to my car domain page if anyone wants to look.

Well thank you very much! I got the powder coated valve covers and intake from Jamie a couple years ago. He did a great job on them. Great guy to order parts from to if you ever need anything.

Thank you, I have admired your car for years but never actually talked to you before. Can you point me in the direction to get the cobrastar emblem?

Chadly, I remember you from the other site. Glad to see you finally made it over to the real site where you can actually speak your mind without being sent to the principals office to be paddled.

I usually try to be polite anyway, so the other site never really bothered me too much, but I do like the fact that there is a political section here. I just had to set someone straight. I guess he thought he could talk :q:q:q:q about Marines and get away with it.

hey chad welcome to LVC. chad was very lucky i did what i dod for him, i spent a whole ton of time smoothing out the rough casting on that intake with about 30 sanding cones on a grinder, lol what a sucky job that was, its good to see you still have it, did you sell the green 1st gen you had bought a few years back?

Yeah after I had it painted and everything I got orders and was moving across the country, again, so I had to get rid of 1 car and 1 motorcycle. I liked the 94, but the 97 is my baby so it was an easy choice. However, I was still sad to see it go.

As for the parts you did, why wouldnt I still have them? They look freakin great! Today I started sanding and polishing my other pair of spark plug covers (I guess thats what thier called) and am gonna put them on there soon. I think it will look good agianst the blue valve covers.

Good to hear from you bro, havent talked to you in a while.

Oh yeah! I almost sold it a few months ago and bought a 67 GTO. Man was that car beautiful! My dream car, well one of them anyway. I just couldnt afford another car payment right now. I think I will have this car for quite some time. I never held on to a car for more than 2 years before this one, and I am going on 6 now. Plus its in my will to go to my son so I kinda have to keep it. He's only 3, but you never know what could happen in my line of work lol.

Welcome sir. I too have read your posts on the " other site ". Have the highest regard for those who serve their country. Great car too. :)

Always recognized the Marine Tag on the front....along w/the red Marine (Staff Sgt.) shoulder patch............

Welcome stranger!:D

This is a great group of people here. I'm still trying to make it to one of the big meets, but I've been busy with work lateley.

I did meet a lot of people from here, at Carlisle though.:)

I am like "hey, I know that Mark!"
