hey everyone i'm th new guy this is my first Ls but not my first lincoln. but the Ls is something new to me. i love the car runs great smooth wish i had the LS8 but i have the LS6. anyway the car has 113k its a 2000 really a built in 99 so its a early 2000 LS6. i have a few issue with it s i need some info if any can help me out. i want to do a full tuneup. plugs, boots on the coils. now i need to know anything else i know i have to pull off the manifold to get to the other plugs, so thats a new gasket there any other things i should do in the engine bay? also does this bad boy have a fuel filter? if so were is.

also couldi swap a 2001 cluster i dont have the miles to empty or tell me the Avg fuel eco?my town car all had that so could i swapp it into my LS6? once agian thanks for all the info

and i have to change my sunroof it broke last saturday and i just got one from a junk yard for 100 bucks from a 2001 so i'm think what else i should swap for an 01 to 00 i already took the arm rest for 15 bucks

also when i go over a speed bump the car makes a werid noise its coming from the front left wheel

the sound might be a bearing or the ball joints or swaybar, it can go on for a long time. as for your other questions i really can't help you as i have never seen a V6. there are plenty of members here that do and will chime in. congrats on the buy and welcome to LVC

I've got a 2000 and it shows the miles to empty and average economy. As I recall the fuel filter location was discussed before, do a quick search and it should come up. In the tech section I think there is a step by step on the manifold removal.

Welcome!! Now on the instrument cluster, Only the V8's have the message board on the dash. Seems like no one has tried to make it work for the V6. You can install the SST shifter in the V6, so you can manual shift. Get a CAI from LSKoncepts, and the exhaust. Give you a nice sound and alittle more get up and go.

thanks for the info i got a few more but one thing at a time, tomorrow i'm taking out the sunroof and putting in a new one. after that pull of the old tint get it redone to 20 precent and 35 on the windshild. also i'm pulling out the factory radio and thinking about pulling out the cd changer because i want a bigger glove box. anyway i want to put my old avicd2 into it which company has a better radio kit for the avic
