That Lincoln emblem over the lower grill, excuse me but is that stock? I really like that there. Wicked cool.

Believe it or not I cut up a mirrored Lincoln license plate and used duplicolor metalcast smoke over it to knock off the chrome. I was trying to hide the 2 license plate holes. I just attached it with push in clips.I thought it turned out pretty good. Something different

If only there was a great location I could put the damn license plate in the front...sadly our state requires it and is a hefty fine if not on :P

Ok, IMO kinda getting cluttered. Painting that grille will solve that instantly. To much noise with the red emblem, chrome grille surround, and now the eye lids.

it looks odd, dont like the lincoln emblem on bumper.. you can paint to match some interior push pins that can cover up the license plate holes and the chrome grille looks completely out of place... body match surround and maybe leave the center chrome.. try that maybe.. ... i like that you do a lot of mods though....you have the bug

i agree completely here. if you would to paint the outside of your grille then it would be more subtle yet a very nice mod. i would leave the center the way it is however which i do not think Jwerner had in mind, not sure

Thanks for all the input. Guys you have to remember we are Americans. We are going to be a little more brash than our Euro neighbors. I know the LSE has a painted grill to match the car and it looks good. I like that look. When I was growing up I had a trans Am,( Solid white) that didn't have a spec of Chrome on it anywhere. They called it California style back in the day. I think everyone wants this car to be a BMW and I personally hate those friggin' cars. My boss has an $80,000.00 BMW (7 series) and I have taken it to the shop, about 40 miles away, so many time I am sick of it. Everytime I go to pick it up it is $1500 to $4000 every single time. The 7 series he had before this new one it was the same thing. BMW's are nice to look at :>)
His mercedes doesn't give him near the trouble and it is 30 years old.
Lets be Brash, Lets be different, lets be non BMW :>)
I don't want to live my life like the Audi commercial where the lady goes to the parking deck and all you see is the same suv parked everywhere and don't have a clue which one is hers. I love posting pictures because I know what is going to be said almost everytime. This is a cool place to be.

No, thats what I had in mind. I just mentioned it in his other head so I left the detail out.

You should paint the area behind the upper mclaren grille black, so you don't have the cappucino color poking out from behind it. Check out the difference when it's all black behind there:

+1, i think the body color you see thru the grill is just a little too distracting, and i think painting behind it would clean it up just a little.

It is vinyl. Well all you guys wanting the grill to match the car color will get your wish. The chrome on the grill was the chrome paint ,chosmo chrome. I was going to buff it out and I burned thru it so I guess it will be painted to match the car. I had the grill off painting the behind it black to hide the car color. $hitt happens

I also got my front windshield tinted. My windshield and my doors are tinted with ceramic. The back glass is not ceramic. That is the next tinting job. The ceramic makes the glass look metalic and tinted I think it gives a cool effect and the ceramic really cuts back the uv rays and heat.

I like the newer look. LSE thing is different. Not my style but its different. Looks like its a good job with the install though
