New Best @ Atco Tonight

Congrats on your new best and gen 2 NA record. Impressive for just having a "small" 3600 stall.

I hope by the end of this summer i will be in the running for quickest gen 2 N/A mark. DLF and kirk, did you install your stalls yourselves or have someone do it?

Well, good luck!

The only thing I haven't done myself is the alignment. ;)

Unlike Doug, I humbly admit I have not done any of the work. If only I had a hoist. That is why I am turned off to the idea of wrenching on this thing.

Awesome time
did you have good consistency in your times that day.
Cut that light a little to much I see must have been to excited to run a record.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have tied up in the stall and the install?

Do we have an official all motor list? I know they had one on LOD...

DLF= mad scientist

Under his car looks like NASA engineers just got done with it. Have fun trying to beat his times.

Here's a list of last night's runs. Naturally, the only time I left too soon was on my best pass. :(

I to, would like to know what's all done to the car. Trying to figure cost-effectivness, compared to my brother 97 gt, which runs 12.5 n/a.

The stall I purchased from Lonnie over at Blue Oval Chips. It's a CircleD Stage2 10" and was $750.

The install? I wouldn't know for sure as I had a bunch of things done all at once. I would guess in the ballpark of $400+ to have the tranny dropped and have a stall put in.

Indeed he is.

I was only a bit more than a tenth behind him until this latest fiasco. That's what it's all about though really is getting out there and having fun. There is a lot left on the plate with my car especially with tuning. I know I can get closer to his times again, I just don't know HOW close. I also have 145K miles on this car. :D

I've decided that I'm going to set the shift points up even higher yet. He's been shifting at 7000 rpms out of first and I've been shifting at 6600-6700.

One thing I can say for sure is that I will beat my current time this year.

So I wonder what people would think if there was now two Gen2s at the top of the NA list. :D

Wow consistently fast. I'm starting to appreciate being supercharged there is less competition.
