New 18" Deep Bullets are on...

To be Mr. Devils Advocate, I do not have stock suspension on my Mark. Im sure Im in for some fun fitment issues with the Jag wheels, The front has been pretty well modified I no longer use struts.

Going with 1.5" Lowering coils.

I would like to see some more pics of the rims both on and off of a vehicle. The thread specified at the beginning of this thread won't show me any pictures of the setup.

Thanks

Mike

The coils make it alot easier to deal with IMO. So you just throw some lil helper airlift bags in the rear and you are done. Bout 13psi and they won't raise the car. They will prevent any rubbing on the fender lips and skirt moldings. You MIGHT have to do a lil trimming but you are a body man last I checked..=)

Those pics are all I got. I still don't have the wheels on my shop floor. Half of them are stuck in customs so we have been waiting for them for a long time now.

You can call me if you want to talk about it. Sent you my number via PM

Cheers

Brad

I'm thinking a set of those spring spacers would do it as well. (The little knobby looking things you put in between the individual coils to effectively raise the spring rate.

I'm assuming your refering to keeping the suspension travel under control right?

I've been recieveing comments as to why I want to remove the air ride and all I can say is. I'm tired ofthe worn out struts, junk solenoids, worn out noisy air pump, and the air ride screwing up on me going donw the highway.

I don't care how the thing rides, as long as I can hang with the vettes and porches going around the corners.

Please dont use the spring spacers, find a spring company out there or I can give you info on a company here that will custom make springs.

Mike I am talking about an actual bag. they are built by a co. called AirLift. Below is a link to the bags.

I know what you are referring to as well. I have never used them so I can't really say anything good or bad bout them. I have however used these airlift bags and they worked brilliant. Kept the rear of the car up when I had it loaded up with people and a full trunk too. Helps if you have heavy stereo equip. as well.

Call anytime.

+1

Those spring spacers are horrible. If you are really after handling go for custom springs and good struts/shock(i. e. Konis)
