Nemo added some aerodynamics to my 00 LS last night... :)

Had a snowday with no work yesterday, and the snowplow didn't bury me yet. Not a bad start to the weekend!

Ah, it still sucks to look outside and see what your day is going to be like... So far we've dodged any accumulation this year but it's been pretty cold. We got 15 minutes of flurries and 10 minutes of rain from this super storm.

Never mind the buried LSes. Get out there and build a snowfort. Then have an epic snowball fight.

That's what I'd do. Plus bring a few quarts of apple pie shine out to stay warm. :D

IT'S ON!

OK Luk, go build your fort, and I'll build mine.

I'll throw a snowball North really freakin' hard. You throw one at NYC.

:)

Thats why mine stays in the garage. I feel for you guys, that doesnt look like much fun at all. Stay warm!

And Pektel is right about the apple pie shine!

Since when to we name winter storms like we do hurricanes?????

Anyway...

The sun is shining, the grass is green (reminds me, I need gas for the mower; I do need to mow!) and the birds are singing! It's a comfortable 50º headed for 60ish. Oh, and gas is ~$4.33......

USA calls this dusting a storm? It's just another day up in Canada.

We had our usual "Team Coverage" yesterday for our Pacific storm which dumped a whopping .3" of rain!

But hey, by ~$.10 per gallon (at ~$4.33) we have the 4th highest gas price in the country! I know..... You're at about $5.15.

Haha. I have family in Northern Maine and they said the same thing. We usually get 1 or 2 of these a yr.

As much as it hurts to leave my car outside in this weather I let my wife use the garage. She can take the kids to school in the morning and never have to actually go outside.

Hey, we all know you're a pansy. No need to keep advertising it. :p

We don't raise any pansy kids round here. Article from my local paper. From the School Board (my mother is the chairwoman):

If you throw north you'll hit M4rk's fort Lol. Aim almost straight east for me :):)

That's why I throw in the gas price. I'm not so sure the "weather premium" is worth it!

We did put in our "winter time" for 5 winters in SLC. Funny thing, their drivers were as bad on snow as ours are when it rains! It's not like it doesn't snow a lot there.....

My LS beasting in .5" of Snow!!!

LOL

This is from last night after cleaning up a bit. doesn't seem like we got hit as bad over here in Northern Jersey. Although we did get another 6-8" over night. I was dying to get some footage of me dong parking lot donuts, but couldn't find a cameraman :(

Read the description! Trying to loose traction on purpose, the LS is not this bad in snow. All season tires.

What is your exhaust set-up again? I don't remember.

Gutsy driving between the tree and telephone pole! I've noticed all-seasons are no match for real winter weather. Snow tires are a must!

I have a 2.5" resonated Bassani exhaust.

I've done it several times over the years so I guess I'm kinda used to it. I wasn't pushing too hard either. Probably around 3.5K. As soon as i felt my azz step out I hit the brakes.

And definately. In my opinon there is no comparison. I remember when I was running blizzaks i felt confident driving in a couple of inches of snow. My car would plow right through, nice an steady. But last night with these all seasons I felt no confidence. Even in just a bit of slush i found myself fighting the car to keep it on the road. Just MY OPINION.

Took the minivan out yesterday (yes I know) the LS probably would have been stuck high center, no plows on the side streets. It was deep, pushed a fwd Altima that just wasn't doing no good on it's own

Screw that.

Left Allentwon PA about 3pm yesterday. I hauled arse out of there. In and out of snow all the way to Ohio. Did hit some high winds in the mountains passing through Pa. Not that bad. Just glad it stayed north of me. I wasn't looking forward to 870 mile drive in a blizzard.

Allentown?!? Haha if you would have made that trip back in May, you would have caught me just a few minutes away in Bethlehem.

So do you want those center caps Mel? PM me :)
