Need Some Help Not Mark Related

Up here in The Great White North I have been driving my daily driver 1995 Yukon GT with a broken left mirror for three years. When it was broken by a passing truck it some how caused the switch to go as well so I cannot adjust the right mirror from the drivers seat anymore. PITA!!!!!

The cost of the new mirror was way too much and wrecking yards were just as bad. Well, recently the drivers door has decided that it wants all new parts and the door handle fell apart again, another $ 60 bucks for that dealer item only. So now I need a mirror a handle and a mirror switch all adding up to over $400. I find all of them on Flea Bay for about $100 order them and get them shipped USPS. The shipping was to include customs and all that for another $32. I pay everything and do the hurry up and wait thing for a week and a half. I get the parts today and guess what? They ship me a new mirror switch and a manual mirror!!!! WTF!!!

So now I call send them all the emails and all the orders and they say it is my fault BUT!!! they will do an exchange just ship the old one back and they will ship me a new one that is correct as long as I pay for the shipping. It is going to cost me $100 in shipping and customs fees for a $20.00 part.

Could I Pay Pal someone $30 bucks and my mailing address and they buy and mail me a new mirror?

Let me know please, now that I can fix the old girl I would like to. She has been good to me for the last 10 years and 200K miles she deserves a new power mirror.

Parts and assecories in Ebay Motors are not covered by it. Even if they were The shipping costs that they say on exchanges are not worth it. For $10 more I keep the one I have that will fit and get the right one. That is all all want to do. I found one from another seller for $19.99 which is half the price of the other guy plus shipping and remail to me as a gift so no customs stuff and it is still cheaper.

Somebody, please help this Canuck.

Is there someone that can help me out here or should I just suck it up and pay twice the price and customs charges?

If sent from private party to private party, there's no customs charge?

Is 30 going to cover part cost plus the shipping from where it is to middle person, and then from middle person up to you?

If I giver you the money and you buy it they ship it to you in the USA all local taxes and everything are looked after. You then put it into the mail to me as a gift because nop money changed hands and all taxes were looked after I do not have to pay the customs charges which at this point are more taxes and handling fees. The $100 worth of parts that I got in the last box cost me 32.00 shipping and then another 20.00 customs fees on my end.

The new mirror is free shipping in the USA actually, they only ship to the USA and then the next 10 or 12 bucks will be to ship to me.
