Need opinions

Thinking about doing a 2 tone paint job. I havent seen many I like, but am optimistic. I am thinking keep it black on the bottom and the top portion a dark red. What do you guys think? The line would be up high, not a half and half, like 3-4" below the window line on the sides, and the hump would be black too so kinda over the top of the back would be red to help with the raked out look. I'm a little drunk so dont be too harsh.

its your car make yourself happy. I always flip flop back and forth whether i liked mine better solid or not, but I'm happy with it. Not to many other people seem to like it, but i could care less.

LSC8, I would want to do mine along the same line you did yours, but with a smaller "pinstripe" to break up the 2 colors.

I was going to give you 2 different opinions on each thread. I think it would be cool looking if you started at a red grill and moved back.

I like that idea. Start with the red grill and have the line go up over the headlights.

I would want the line on the deck lid to follow the contours of the hump.

Colors would have to be dark red over black.

That mark was at the car show the resturant next to my shop had last weekend. Those pics dont do it justice. And it really is his daily driver. The car is immaculate.

And after a half hour of searchin i cant find the red/black two tone that was fore sale around here on the net... that was my main mission and came up with the above lol

I'm with slick, the white one with grey on the bottom looks pretty good but I would stay all black and maybe have purple and blue pearl added. Friend of mine had a 94 GT and it was like that. Beautiful car! He paid about $3300 for the paint job but it did look good. The Gen 1 seems to take a 2 tone look a little better.

its really hard to come up with a good two tone on a gen 2 cause there are no real break lines and the body's are so curvy. The other idea that i liked before i did my current one was starting around the grill and running one big stripe with the hood line getting wider, similar to the bagged two tone in the previous pic posted.

its like a eddie bauer paint job on the explorers and expeditions just got to paint over the wheel wells!
