need help blew my head gasket

youre sure its blown?
and cheapest is a probably replacement engine from a junkyard. hopefully it works.
otherwise it will cost a pretty penny to have it rebuilt.

To pull that head the easiest way? Drop the front sub-frame with the engine/trans attached and raise the rest of the car off it with a lift.

ive been through a few of them does it still run or is it completely shot? it is actually cheaper to find a used motor, but you dont always know what your getting. also you have to make sure you fix what overheated it in the first place. i had bad advice and bad mechanics twice.if it still runs i have a cheap bandaid fx, but it lasted 18 months before it failed.

if its really bad dont waste your time, no matter what the motor has to come out whether you swap motor or do a head job. if you go head job you have to have them checked they're not cracked before having them redone which here is between 300-450 for the pair before labor taking off and on.

You need a new motor. There is someone one here now parting out a low mile gen 2. You can get it pretty cheap i would think. Rebuilding is of course an option, but it WILL be costly. How much are you willing to invest?

+1 +1 +1 +1

Get another motor, you can try some block fix product. I've had luck with some, but its by NO means a permanent fix, it may get you by for a month or several months, or it may not work at all-depends on the breach

But as the others have said, it would be far cheaper to replace the motor than to have that one fixed. 1) because the block has to be removed anyway
2) machine work is expensive
3) then all the gaskets needed -head gaskets, timing cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plus new head bolts-
4) then finding someone that has the set-up tools and knowledge on how to time these motors (LOL good luck)
5) then reinstall

I just picked up my new motor a few weeks ago for the same reason, I breached my block at the #7 cylinder exhaust port and coolant was weeping out by the header on the driver side head, and oil was weeping out of the #3 exhaust port under the pass head :(

My last mark breached coolant into the #7 and #8 cylinders, I added Barrs Leak BlockFIX to that ones coolant and got another 3-4 months out of it before I had to swap blocks
