meaning airbags don't work? or a wiring issue?
It could be the airbags themselves, the crash sensors, the control module, or the wiring. As others said, count the blinks to get the fault code.

these are the pics i got from the guy b4 i bought it. i knew it was damaged previously (fender lol) just didn't think to examine airbags too much
So say their are 3 blinks in a row and a pause and the 5 blinks the code would be 35? I'm sorry I'm a noob at cars
Funny thing is, I was so close to buying that car, but I couldn't find a ride out there lol. $800 for a Mark 8 is a excellent deal, especially if it runs. Get the Maintnance up to date. Find a open road, and mash the throttle, and spin the tires. You can expect another 160k out that engine![]()
Yes. Get the code, and read the Ford airbag error code list, and see what the cause of the problem is. The list is all over the internet.
No offense, but if you're new to cars, I wouldn't start out by working on the airbag system. There are many safety procedures involved with this, as there should be.
I'd suggest read the code, then read up on it so you know more about it, then take it to a trusted mechanic and get a quote and see what he says.
are you the guy who test drove it b4 me? the one who was going to give 500? LOL
