need help, 89 TC not starting when cold

My 89 Town car has been experiancing problems in the morning lately. I go to start it either remotely or with the key. She just cranks. but doesn't fire. But later in the day she starts fine no problems at all.the thing I noticed was the fuel pump not kicking in in the morning. I am wondering if it is the pump or maybe a connection?

try replacing the relay first . its the cheapest. next would be the pump. or if you could get under the car when you dont hear the pump,and ck for voltage on the wires going to the pump by the tank
