need cheap mods

wait a minute. Its still a ford. no ford is cheap. you want cheap go SBC You can rebuild it with 2 wrenches and a tube of gasket sealer. as for cheap ford, um maybe exhaust and intake, if you do them yourself with second hand parts. ok maybe not quite that far.

Fox stangs are cheap as hell to mod. Some bolt on and sticky tires your in the 12s.
 
that depends on your definition of cheap. no ford is cheap cheap to build. compared to a Chev cheap we have little diamond plated spark plugs and titanium lugnuts.

I am not ragging on anyone; but these are pretty nice cars as they are and you must spend lots of money on them to make them a little faster and even more to make them much faster. I can only speak for myself when I say that this car has gotten me laid allot:cool: and it is stock with wheels and a sensor job. The car will go triple digits, is quite luxurious and gets good gas mileage as well. Just my 2 cents.

I don't need a car to get laid. I just liek to go fast and like to be different and try it with a big Lincoln.

I just bought a house in Las Vegas and went for a little ride. I still own the ranch, and live there in the summer. I will winter in Sin City.

Actually my Mark is fluent in six languages and yes, all I have to do is leave it parked somewhere and when I get back..........babes.

Like I said I am not on anyone's case about this and I never said you need anything to get laid. Nor did I say I do either. I did say that the car has allowed it to happen just because it is a beautiful car and does seem to attract members of the opposite sex. I like you thought it might be fun to go faster in the Mark when I first got it but as time went by I just got used to the enjoyment of owning a very nice car. Good luck with your project:)

you want cheap horsepower. get a tornado.......

youll gain 30 hp and 15 mpg. better yet put a K&N sticker In your intake thats good for at least 14 or better. by a chip off ebay itll do it all and more. might even cook a plate of nachos after time.

FordNut, has been around them too long. he is used to the expensive stuff. i dont care how many 5.0s there are no ford is cheaper to build then a gm. yeah parts are everywhere but that dont make them cheap. built a 350 with 400 hp spend 2 grand or less. Build a ford for that and you know something most others dont. yeah Budget fords with 385 are possible budget being less then a Crate motor

Your going to argue over 15hp? Dollar for dollar you can get more out of a Chevy 350 then a 5.0L. But if your going to say a cheap 5.0L can only make 385hp and a 350 can make 400hp who cares. Most guys aren't going to lose sleep over giving up 15hp to a motor with almost 50 more CID. My point from the begining was a fox stang is dirt cheap to get into the 12s, add nitrous and your in the 11s
 
not arguing over 15 horse i could of put 400 and it wouldnt matter. you stated the fact of what im saying.

Your point is right on.:headbang:
You can build a cheap 350 but you have to put it into something.
A fox body can be had with go fast goodies for low coin.
Cheap way into the 12s :cool:
 
You can get a stock Gen1 or 2 into the high 13's low 14's with $300 and alot of elbow grease and time.
 
First do you have a Gen 1 or 2? And allot of the mods require in depth knowledge, tools and allot of work.
