So I did the UCA's in my current 98. I went the napa's and I'm pretty impressed. Does anyone have any experience with these?

i can see by the design of the inner bushings they wont last long. trw/moog only and they are cheaper than what you spent.

What exactly do you see that is sub par? Also these carry a lifetime warranty. So at least I won't be paying for them ever again.

UCAs

Rule number 1.Any and all suspension parts should always be MOOG.Dont learn the hard way.Rule number 2 if you learn the hard way refer to rule number 1.More than a couple on this site experienced rule number 2.

I got those UCA on my mark to test out their words of it being better because thicker arms and bigger ball joints...been 3 months and no complaints yet...I'll keep updating

the factory style bushing articulate, or roll inside the arm making the travel up and down nice and gentle on the control arm, the after market or knock off arms have the bushing pressed into the arm so you will notice when you go and tighten it on the car and try to move it up and down it binds real hard causing the control arms to either bent, or you get one hell of a squeeky ride or even better you tear the bushings because you are forcing them to try and roll inside the ends of the control arm and they dont want to move. but, like you said, lifetime warranty, its a good thing you have lots of free time because you'll be changing it out often!

I'm on a super tight budget, so I know I'm prolly gonna learn the hard way (and I thoroughly expect 40 lashes with a wet noodle if they should fail:D)...but I used the XCP arms on my '96 and they've been on there for at least 5 years with no issues...yet...knock on wood. And installed the same UCA's on my wife's '97 LSC a couple of months ago. The only difference is that the ones I got for the '97 have grease fittings on the ball joints. I like that. I don't believe in "permanently sealed" anything. And I really hate using those syringe-style needle fittings for the grease gun that actually punctures the grease boot because there's no grease fitting.
