LVC Family, I have a problem you may be able to help me solve.
With this hot Florida summer, upon us, I've noticed my 2004 Lincoln LS sounds like a hoover craft with the fans going after I turn off the car. I lifted the hood to see what was going on. I noticed to fan keep going for a few minutes and than turned off. I also noticed some dried spots of a white/rusty color on the hose that goes from the engine to the radiator right at the top. Although the fans had finally turned off, I could still hear a noise coming fron this sqaure casing unit right next to the radiator hose on the front passenger side. This square casing also had 6 steel tubes coming at the top of it to give a more detailed description. After a few more minutes that too turned off. I guess my question is what is leaking? And what is causing the fans to run? Thanks LVC family.
