1998 Lincoln Mark VIII Collectors Edition
Its been over 3 years since Ive had a Mark VIII as a daily driver. Its going to be nice to drive one again.
The previous owner made me do all the maintenance work on it for no pay and rarely ever let me drive it. She also never washed it, so it needs completely detailed, by me, again......
okay in all seriousness now. I sold the SRT-4 this past week in order to finance the restoration of the 94 Convertible I bought late last year. I decided to get my girlfriend something that was more reliable than a 13 year old car, and something that I really didnt have to do anything to for a while. It was also important that it wasnt something I would be too ashamed to drive.
Well we ended up with a 2006 Impala SS. The drive back from Michigan sucked late last night (got home about 4am), but I think its going to be a real nice car for us.
I dont really plan on modifying it too much. Right now Im thinking getting some impala ltz wheels and painting them black, with some nice red caliper paint and with white "SS" on them. I also paln to de-emblem the car and tint the tail lights.
Ill keep you guys updated on the progress.
