Nice pic! LSC is looking good...

You've got 4.10's right? do you still have the stock driveshaft?

Nice pics of the mural. Would like to know what the words say.
Your Mark looks great. Black on Black is my favorite.
Fuzzy dice rule!! I'm surprised they aren't Black.

An excellent documentation of the actions of local men in uniform and the proud display of patriotism by the residents of your community. You must be proud to be part of it. Hats Off! And I salute the Marines!

Well thank you very much!

Your a little bit off about our community though, you couldnt pay me enough to live here, (and they dont!). This place really sucks. Population 17,000. Average temp in the summer is around 120. Closest shopping mall is 70 miles. closest wallmart is 35 miles. Restraunts are getting better, we have Mcdonalds, jack in the box, and Denny's.

However we have an abundance of bars, tattoo shops, and barber shops. Plus there is a nappa and an auto zone.

The community as a whole either supports us or tollerates us. If there wasnt a base here there wouldnt be much of anything else either.

Honestly I hardly ever leave base. I go to the first barber shop outside the gates every sunday after church, and to auto zone about once a month, so I dont get out there too often.

On the other hand, i have been stuck in much worse places!

wow, well we got 3 Wal-Marts all within 30 miles of here........lolol, u can have one :) , thats lame lot more people up there than here in the valley........

Haha, I've got 2 Wal-marts that are each about 6 miles away from me. And there are 2 more within 20 miles!!

So I was wrong about it being your community. I apologize. As far as Wal-Mart goes, There are more than 6 within 30 miles of me, the nearest is 2 miles away and open 24/7. Nearest shopping mall is same distance. I quite often complain about the congestion here. Everything you could need is within a 10 minute drive. I live on a hill and I can see the ocean from my house. Maybe I don't have it so bad after all.

No need to apologize whatsoever! Its my community because its where the Corps tells me where to live. its where we call home. You were not wrong at all. And if I didnt emphasize it enough, THANK YOU for saluting the Marines! Most people think we are just average soldiers and dont realize how we differ from them. I'm not saying were better, that will just cause problems, but we are different. And I salute you!!! Thank you for serving our country in a controversial time. No matter what anyone else says, I applaud you!! I have had family serve in every war since the civil war with the exception of Vietnam. My uncle couldnt pass the physical and my dad was too young, but you sir deserve a salute yourself.

Yeah dude, you got it pretty good. I see plenty of sand, but no water.

I guess I am comparing it to where I grew up. Paarkersburg, WV. My closest neighbor was a good 1/2 mile away but i lived 10 minutes from every mall, restraunt chain, walmart, home depot, lowes, auto parts store, etc. We dont even have a dealership within 40 miles out here! Any dealership! Closest one is a ford and a chrysler in Yucca Valley 40+ miles away.

Not a bad town or community, just not my cup of tea.

Property value is sky rocketing though. wish I had bought a house when I was here in 1999!
