I love the look of this LS, I wish I could find more pics of it.

I hope this isn't a repost

I still hate that they didn't shave the rear door handles. totally kills the look of the widebody when they kept them. The flares look silly.

i cant believe all the money they sunk into it and they couldn't put a couple of damn gas hood props back on

why have them though, its extra wieght that has no need, if your racing the car it won't be up and if you're rebuilding the motor the hood wont be on, and if its in the pit the hood prop works just fine.

not to bust your balls or anything

I agree, surely he could have replaced the OEM pistons that hold the hood, with something more industrial...

A piece of wood is ghettoooo.

Love the gauges soo much. I hate digital but thats the best gauge cluster I've seen yet on an LS. Also the filter placement is badas

Car is badazz. I agree it was a cheap move not to put the hood struts back on. They aren't going for weight savings and that is not a race car, its a show car.

well thats unfortunate, if I put all that money into a car to boost horsepower and ingrease downforce I would autocross the :q:q:q:q out of it.

but its not a race car, its a trailer queen, thats was built to go to shows, and to show off the shop. if they want to save weight, they would have started somewhere else, like not putting heavy a$$ wheels on it, and with 700+ HP in a 2 ton car, the pound and a half gas shocks would not have made any difference at all. now in that picture, its at a show, and its the little things like that that stick out

and if its in the pit the hood prop works just fine.
until one person from the crew, accidentally bumps it and then the hood falls on one of you crew, now you lost time in the pits and a crew member, thats going to make it hard to win the race!

no one has to hold the hood up in nascar, and no one has to carry a wood rod to prop it up either, ive also never seen a wood rod on a funny car at the strip either.

I must say the headlights look very sexy smoked lightly like that.
