My impressions of Sprint Springs 1.75"

orange4a.jpg

You talking about this one? lol I am not sure how that could even compare..

But yes, it's commonly known that black and orange are complimentary colors.. They match and flow very well (in moderation)

I didnt originally want black or chrome wheels and especially the two combined because in my, and I am sure a lot of other peoples opinions, that is the definition of generic. I would be happy with white stripes.

Meh, I think it will look pretty good :D and I am sure I am not the only one that feels that way. It's nice not like I am going with full out orange wheels here hahaha!

So I'm probably the only one that thinks the wheels on this orange LS work. All black wouldn't, IMO. Good looking car......

I have Sprint Springs and my first impression was like Eibachs but after I kept using the car it slammed so bad that right now im thinking of going back to Eibachs.

Thats the one. Like I said different color scheme but same tacky approach.

Yes, mine seems to be getting lower and lower.. lol I am not a fan how the back end is so low, but the front is higher on this. It's hard to get these cars even. Sounds like Sprint in the front, and Eibach rears are the way to go.. I am not a big fan of how I can clear the parking curb in the front, but can't drive over a stick..

Yer kinda being a douche. Seriously, that is such a slippery slope argument and your can't really compare a little wheel pin striping to something that even completely resembles that. Only a color similarity is it's commonality.

I am just hoping on a trend bandwagon and it's reversible at that. Not like I painting my entire car. But regardless that 2-tone LS is very nice for a ->show<- car, wouldn't be my daily driver.

I looked at nearly 2000 show cars at SEMA and that LS would be nothing out of the ordinary. Nor will my method of styling ever be "tacky."

But it's safe to say that if anybody on these forums don't like it, then everyone else in the real world will love it. And from what I have seen on these forums is that people are mean as hell with their opinions and without any regard of any personal decency.

I didn't agree with the guy asking for opinions for his Burberry interior, but no need to bash him for it. I just didn't respond but people went to town on him. :shifty:

Seemed like an opinion gang bang (and not the good kind) lol

Im actually being the opposite as I said more than once its your decision buddy.

Really, why would I care? Its not going on my car. I voiced a opinion and you engaged that.

I never once bashed and I really think that post deserves some re-thinking and better judgment.

You cant slander someone cause they have a different opinion. You speak of opinion but yet are being closed minded towards one just cause it disagrees with yours. I don't know if you misunderstand or just being stubborn but I give the benefit of the doubt and say its just that you don't see it the same way I do.

You might like that flashyness even when at a minimum but to me its ugly and tacky but again by all means do it if you feel its going on your car not mine or the guy next to me.

You keep saying its ugly, tacky, and generic, repeatedly. but how is black with a chrome lip not generic?

Who knows maybe when they are on the car I will change my mind.. I like a clean look as well and maybe this isn't for me.

But this is a new trend and no where near as ridiculous as some of the other styles out there. :p

You arguments lack premises, so therefore I refer to you as "acting like a douche"

Prove it too me, show me a discount tire site or anything cheap low class Walmart specials for my intentions of styling. Show me a cheap wheel that anybody working for min wage could afford. Hub caps? :D

i have 20 in hubcaps .....................they are sweet.........quit ARGUING GUYS.....i farted dammit:confused:

i think that looks good if you add the orange grill and surround emblems off lskoncepts. It would be the subtle touch that would bring it all together

Thank you :)

I looked found the emblems, not the grill. Not really thinking this is my style, but the more I think about it the more that I realize that it's hard to introduce a little 1/8" striping on the body.

My car is debadged and I don't like body pin striping. Guess I just need to play with photoshop a bit and get some ideas.

Well I tried, you are one stubborn little stuck up narrow minded prick if I'm a douche.

Stop huffing that nitrous if it don't blow you up first.

How did you try? I challenged you to prove me wrong.. and stated you were acting like a douche.. I don't know you, you could be I dunno. :headbang:

I was wondering why my bottle was getting empty.. :nos: good thing I would have to ingest some fuel to blow up

The Vulcan thing is pretty damn funny though. :)

Thank you :D I was really concerned that the Eibachs wouldn't go low enough and these ones would beg the crap outta of me for some proper offset wheels.. Haha I don't wanna look slammed like honda with stock wheels, but very clean. I think with the right set of 20's or 19's it will look sharp..

Currently these wheels are my selection:

I got a 1.75" drop with Eibachs Springs pro-kit. Rides normal. Just had to watch speed bumps. Take them in an angle one wheel at a time. I am use to driving lower vehicles. I had two lower rider S-10s with 12" drops.

If you want to go with the orange on the rims, I suggest. The orange LSKoncepts Lincoln stars front and rear. You could do a two-tone pinstripe. Orange on grey or silver. Similiar to the Harley Divadson colors. Thin pinstripe front to rear. Conservative. Just my $.02.

I had considered doing a red pinstripe on my Konigs. Very similair to what you are considering doing. But I would have to sand on the chrome to get the paint to stick.
