So yesterday I was under the hood checking everything to make sure all is ok. I closed the hood and normally I have to put it all the way down and then push the last couple inches (gently) for it to latch down. Well yesterday I just closed it normally and it latched.
So this morning its very foggy out and I am concentraiting on the road cause visibility is crap. I think to myself that the nose some how looks different but figure its cause I am leaning foreward to see better.
I do my 52 mile drive at 75mph most of the way and even hit 90+ while passing. Pull into my job, get out and see my hood is popped open.
I cant believe the hood didnt flip up! In a Stang it would have flipped up and broke the window! Good job Ford on making a safety catch that works!
I now return you to your regularly schedualed program.
