HOT ROD LCN
Active LVC Member
I recently aquired a decent 89 LSC 5.0 from a friend. Its got some issues, of course.Ive been a fan of this site for a while, and this is my first lincoln, so I have a few questions I hope someone can help with.
1) there is a pulsing noise that I cant turn off. it is Higher in pitch than door open alarm, but is very similar. All doors are closed, over head/interior lights are off???
2) The rear bags pump up perfectly on startup, but totally a$$ out after being off for a few hours. There was 1 time about a year ago, i was in car (with previous owner) that the rear deflated while driving. We pulled over, started up, and waited. filled up and we were good to go. Q-does this sound like leaky bags and nothing else? id rather just pay for 2 bags then the coil spring conv. ( car has a few other issue$$$)
3) I only have key for the ignition. I have the keypad code for trunk. Ive heard that there is a code # in trunk to unlock doors-anyone know exactly where? Is there a way to reset keypad?
Thanks- I really love this ole Hot Rod Lincoln, And hopefully between this great forum and my stubborness, we can save another mk7 with way too much potential for the boneyard. Looking foward to being a part of LVC!!!!
