Thought I would show my Mark.

The radio doesn't very well and the glove box doesn't open. Not sure how that happened.

There is some damage from my friends wheelchair before I got the car.Mostly interior but a little on the quarter panel.

The chips in the paint are from the wheelchair also.

Darkend the picture to see the tear on corner of the seat.

Have to replace the brown "control" panel.

wow, she is ruff, but nothing some good old fashioned sweat and tears cant fix up, what are your plans for it?

Not bad, did you really pay $1 for it? You have a pepper hanging from your mirror, you really should eat it before it rots! My sunshade looked like yours but it was broken so I just removed it, I enjoy the sun!

I think I have a grey control panel, might cost more than the car though!

Couple junkyard runs or get parts off people here and she'll look better in no time. The back seat and complete headliner sunvisors wold kill me. How many mile on her? How does the engine and trans run?

So far my plans are to just start giving it some TLC and replace or fix things that need it.Wish I could really get started on it but for now it will be as is.

Erik, you got yourself a bit of a project there. Does that hand control work both the accelerator and the brake? How?
Yeah,it controls both.Real simple really.Just down for accelerating and forward for brake.I want to get a different set up one of these days but damn those things are expensive.

Yikes! You have a burned out map light! ;)
I think that might be my biggest problem. :D

I got the car from a good friend who had past away.He was also a paraplegic and both he and his wife agreed to give me the car.Caught me by surprise.I paid the dollar so that I would have had to pay the taxes and that was it.

I almost didn't take it.I have a thing where I don't like people giving me stuff and I would have paid what it was worth but I understood where they both were coming from.

I knew I was going to get some sh!t for the chili pepper. :D

How much would you want for it?

I got $2 right now. :D

I plan on hitting both places up once I get started and can afford the parts.Hopefully soon.

The engine and trans run real good.I have had the car for about 6 years and my parents drive me around in it.I had just figured out getting my wheelchair in the car, because of something stupid,so I should be driving it full time soon.

I would put in a 96 seat back so you can have the arm rest. Luckily Gen I parts are dirt cheap.

when i worked at ford we had a few customers that had hand controls. all of the ones i saw you twist the handle for throttle (like a motorcycle) and push for brake, kinda fun to drive. had one guy with a van and he had a power chair that locked into a thing on the floor where the drivers seat was. so when i would pull it into the shop i would sit on a milk crate. only problem i had was when you push forward to stop all your weight shifts forward too, in turn pushing harder on the pedal and stopping the truck very hard throwing me off the crate and getting a face full of steering wheel. it was only 5 miles an hour, but to 5 miles an hour to 0 in about 3 inches still sucked

I plan on just getting the interior all redone. With my wheelchair having to be put back there I think I'll just keep the stock seat.Just in case if the arm rest was left down I would have to worry about it.

Try doing it at 40 mph not wearing the seat belt. ;) Good thing I caught it because I would ate the steering wheel as well. :D

You don't expect it at first when you stop. You are just kind of relaxed.

Nothing has changed. :( I haven't had the money to do anything to her. Not much of anything anyway. I had just bought some better non-HID headlight housings a couple of months ago with HID bulbs I got earlier in the summer. I want to freshen them up first before I install them.

The chili is long gone. :p

Not sure what happened to the glove box. It did open and then it didn't. But that is also just a minor fixer compaired to the rest.

I'll have to look but I think I have that piece of chrome missing over your driver side corner light. I'll let you know. Excellent investment for a dollar.

Can never complain about paying for something like an M8 for only a dollar can you Don? :D

I still want to pay her the full amount. I guess by driving the car and if I ever get to fixing her up I guess his wife would apreciate that more.
