Mufflers

Sounds like you are brand confused... SS Mopar VIII ... Lol

To explane the ssmoparviii... SS is for my late 98 Camaro SS, Mopar is for the '72 Road Runner I lost in my divorce and my now Mark VIII. So not really brand confused. This is the third Mark Ive had. Mark number 1: 1977 Mark V, Mark number 2: 1987 Mark VII LSC and Mark number 3: 1993 Mark VIII. So there you have it.

The look on her face was enough reward when she came to pick the kids up and saw the VIII.

You should have 3 cats, 1 resonator and 2 mufflers.

(the third cat is where the 2 exhausts merge into a 'Y' then, there will be a very small resonator box behind that)

Here is the pic I wanted to show you, ssmoparviii. (only just found it)

No. 3 is the third cat, No.2 is the resonator box.

I got the mufflers cut and left the resonator on and it sound pretty good...not loud but still sound mean...also I was told that the resonator will work for passing emission hear in texas...yeehawww

we don't have emissions here but yet i still can not find anyone to take the third cat out. I have the resonator removed and flowmasters. Think i might remove the mufflers will that help with the drone.

No worries. Yeah, the 2 by the manifolds are the primary cats.

Driver's side cat is permanently attached to the manifold and the passenger side cat is permanently attached to the main exhaust. You'll have fun when it's time to change the 02 sensors! Lol.

My Mark passes strict NYS emissions with only 2 cats.
It acually blows clean numbers.

You spray right?

My buddies Vic with no cats reads some pretty clean numbers if he sprays before getting it tested.
