Does anyone know if there is a way to mod the rear windows so that they go the entire way down? I figure its some kind of child safety precaution but I don't have kids. Anyone know anything about this?

If I am not mistake I think is has to do with the rear wheel well. The door is not deep enough in the rear to accept the glass.

ya, as much as i would like to mod it to go all the way down, i dont think it is possible... if you find out a way let me know

I didn't even think of the wheel well thing. That makes perfect sense now. I'll have to take a closer look at my car when I leave work. That's most likely it though.

maybe you can remove the glass and have it cut

smaller glass will go all the way down, as long as you measure it all correctly.

thats what I was thinking. Should be able to get it pretty darn close.

I just roll the fronts down to the same height of the rears. I think it gives a nice symetrical appearance.

how often would you really use this? spend the time and money on go-fast stuff...

Yeah but you would be shaving 10 lbs of weight of the vehicle that should equate to a 1/10000th of an increased 1/4 mile time are close huh? :)

Yeah I agree go fast products 1st frilly cute stuff a distant goal. Speaking of go fast whats the word on the SC.... I fell off the planet for about a month or so and probably mised out on all the updates.

got a bunch of new shiney parts last week.

I just have to:
- re-route of the intake vacuum hoses
- re-route the accelerator cables
- re-route all the intake electrical
- tune

so I am now planning all the parts - trying to stay with pre-made stuff as much as possible - so this can be a kit.

Should be a couple more weeks....

haha same crap i do... i get out of the car and make sure the 2 windows line up in the back n front haha

You know it's bad when you spend a few minutes getting it perfect.

The problem with the window is the regulator assembly. It stops the window before it goes all the way down. When my rear regulator was broken, and disconnected for the big metal plate in the door, the window was all the way down. So, it can be done, but will require some modding.

Yeah I waste more time verifying the windows are the same height than Icare to divulge. But it looks nice. It would be nice if there was a way to rig the windows to just express roll down to that height.

Yeah! your are right. I forgot about that. Jeez you'd think i'd remember something like that becasue I went through 2 on each side in the back and front. It does drop all the way down.

So this is a working model then? Excellent! Is this the same SC that they intend t us on the V6?

Uh....then the window won't go all the way up.....

True. well you could get it to but you would end up doing the same thing that you would have to do to ge it to go lower and that is to adjust the pully and lift system.
