MN LS Meet pics 8/15/09

So, we got together on Saturday. Nice to see you guys again, and nice meeting Craigh. It was a crappy day outside, but we still got some decent picturess, although they could've been much better if the sun was shining. Dont' know what is is about our meets, but we don't have the best of luck with weather.

Anyways, here's a bunch of pics I took:

About the license plate, I didn't know how much others value there privacy, so I tried to make it the least invasive.

I love the height difference pic, I cannot wait to get springs lol.

Oh and as far as the covering plates on the internet, you know the only reason some people do that is if they race their cars on the track or have non-street legal mods as insurance companies have been known to hire people to look for such pictures online of cars @ dragstrips.

However, this is usually and in the, i think, only legit case recorded (lots of rumors) insurance companies were looking into photos of alot of Subaru model cars as those are favorites in the import racing scenes and are often on the track. This is why if you ever go to a drag strip, you will see people with painters tape, taping off their plates.


Other than reasons like that, I do not see why you would cover something that can be seen in your driveway or whilst driving everyday?

:lol: I was getting pissed because every picture was taken at a weird angle. I was trying to get the camera straight :lol:

Nic, my fog light has a fluke like that sometimes. For some reason every once in a great while it won't fire up. but I just turn them off, and back on again, and all's well.

Also, did a mod once I got home. Don't know if it fits my car yet. Took JWerner's advice, and tinted the amber lenses, and reinstalled them into the headlights:

Yes, the car is dirty as f*ck. Drove the 200 miles home in the rain, and been raining off and on since.

The lenses look like they turned out good. But honestly I think your car looks better without any lenses. It almost looks out of place having that dark lens in there and just about everything else on your car is lighter colored, IMHO. I don't know. Good job though :Beer

Thanks. I don't know if it fits yet either. I'm gonna leave them in for a week or 2, and see what I think after then.

Maybe I'll start a new thread with a poll, after I clean the car up.

Yea I think it looks alot better. Previously you could see your like blue tintish bulb in there, now it is much more subtle!

Also dam pektal your car looks like a different color every time you do photoshoots lol
