MkVIII rear window ext. vinyl wrinkling problem

mine was leaking and wrinkly - i used permatex flowable silicone windshield and glass sealer - no more wrinkling.

could you heat it up smooth it out and let it cool?
or did it shrink .lol

unfortunately, replacing the glass is the only way to fix the trim - they are a one piece unit.

are you 100% on that??

A lady at the local Steelership told my the main problem is the chance of the glass braking when removing to replace the
trim.?
then she mite of been talking out her ass
