Need Clues.....to what is going on with my '95 Mk8, 140k.
A couple of weeks. ago noticed a surging when easing up through the gears, like a fuel hesitation, not tranny. When more load was applied, the hesitation quit, @ WOT she ran find.Started thinking, not fuel problem. A few days ago, she developed a bad miss
in just normal driving, hesitations were getting worse before the pronounced missed started. Now it sounds like several cylinders are not firing, or are miss firing. Loss of power. Afraid to drive.
Money is an issue, looking for some direction/diagnosis help. Has new Motorcraft wires and plugs. Thanks
Hank

Easy check pull plug wires looked for oil soaked plug wires if oil soaked...proper fix valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and a quality wire....broke ass fix...pull wires, clean and let dry with brake clean...and new plugs...but will probably still have miss...

Also check fuel filter under rf wheel well liner, and clean MAF with brake clean and remove air cleaner and clean throttle body blades they carbon up badly causing a slight hesitation on accel

And you make hardly any sense......please practice grammar and punctuation

pull plug wires off one at a time while engine running and hold tight until you find one that doesnt shock the piss out of you!!!!

a shuddering in between gears maybe? torque converter shudder is common, goes away when you apply more or less load, and won't show under full throttle.

edit. you said not trans. meh.
