Anyone else have problems with mice? I just found another one in the trunk. Lucky I left a trap in trunk got that sucker. I stopped driving the mk8 because mice got all in it and made it smell bad. They where in trunk and headliner. I did a major clean out and demousing. I blocked the grates in the trunk where i thought they where coming in, guess there coming in somewhere else. More mouse proofing in my future.

no mice in the mark, but we did find one under the shifter console in my bro's SHO. idk how it got in there either. up through the bottom i suppose.

Living in a woods area can stink because of mice. I did a garage mouse clean out before winter and got at least 15 of those suckers. None hitting the traps in months now think I got the whole bunch. One of them died in my F-150 kick panel and rotted there. I almost sold truck it stunk so bad. I left it open for like 8 months and sprayed with Bio-haz. I duct taped metal plates over every hole in interior of truck no mice now.

A couple years ago, at my uncles farm he had cat problems believe it or not. They kept getting into his old pos 7.3 powerstroke bush truck. One weekend he left the hood open and a preggo mommy cat crawled in there and had her kittens, I guess the wind or something closed the hood they got stuck in there. My uncle went and fired it up on the Sunday and he thought something didn't smell right. He ignored it and went and checked up on his properties. On his way back he noticed a cat and 6 kittens roasted to pieces in his driveway.

Moral of the story, I don't like cats

Umm, dude I don't like cats either but damn,:shifty: some stories are better left unsaid!

go get a bar of irish spring soap, put half under the drivers seat, and the other half in the trunk. Idk what it is about that soap, but mice hate it and they will stay away. It sounds ridiculous but it actually works.

Bounce fabric softner sheets placed around interior and in trunk and under hood works too.

He is correct. A old man at a car show told me to try it and I have not had a mice problem since. I put bounce dryer sheets in the tailpipes too.
