the more i learn about these mod motors the more i see that fi is the way to go for big power, i'm just putting it back together with some decent parts this winter and driving it next summer

next winter though i'm considering starting with a mmr BB longblock and topping it off with a centrifugal

I had a 318 stroker 4.6 before and lemme tell you it was a headache. The stroke was so long and the cylinders so short the piston came down to far out of the bore and wore my lower cylinders out .007 more than the mid or tops. This after MAYBE 1000 miles, albeit HARD miles but still. Hey good luck with whatever road you travel man!

good info and yet another reason i'm thinking a BB with a stock stroke crank is the way to go
