mark viii police interceptor....hahahha

oh man it got removed. I had ( well it was the wife's ride) a 1992 Merc Grand Marque with the 4.6L Police Package - Blue Silicone hoses , high end alternator, cooling package - even a power steering fluid cooler. It was a hoot popping the hood with the hoses and all the POLICE or LIMO only tags. it was white with standard caps - rare for a Merc. Never once got a ticket.

I miss that one!

too bad it was removed. I wanted to see it. The best was one I found from a thread over here, "more hp cause it was a higher output alternator"

What year car?

If gen 1 (93-96) check fuses, bulbs, and the harness that runs down the driver's side trunk hinge.

If gen 2 (97-98) it's likely the neon's ballast that needs replacing.
 
I got a screen shot.....$800???? guess since its a rare police interceptor its worth it

I paid $350 for mines and it's better than that with coil conversion, 124K, and only problem was clogged 3rd cat which I replaced
 
what is also funny is the title says Mark VIII yet in the ad it says Mark VII
