mark viii PCM and one piece driveshaft they worth anything

If it has a chip it'd be stuck in the backside of the PCM on the opposite end from the wiring harness.

IF geno tuned it, it'll have a chip.

If some other tuner tuned it, it may have a missing handheld tuner someplace

There was nothing at all that I could see as far as an external chip. Also I was just searching some of the old owners threads to get all the inside scoop on this thing. There is actually a post where he is talking to YOU about tuning and saying he was ordering a tuner! So now I'm thinking he must have tuned it himself. Judging by that conversation it really sounds like he and you both know your :q:q:q:q with this stuff.:D
 
weird, can you post a link to that thread or post his user name and ill search it out.

maybe he did get an xcal2..i wonder if that lady can find it?

if so, its still married to that car and is useless to anyone else for the most part.

I don't want to screw up here trying to link it but his screen name was 96Cordovan. It was in a post where he asked about tuning.

I didn't know tuners were like that. So once you use it on one car that's the only one it can be used on? Hmm.

I don't think I will be calling her anytime soon. She would probably just try to charge me a fortune for it if she even knows where it is.
