mark bags keep lowering

You're going to have to give a little more info my friend.
While you're driving?
When the car hasn't been driven?
When you leave a drink in the cup holder?
Depends on if you eat beef or chicken in the car?

no only when it sits over night. it lifts up when started and dosnt do it while driving...just wondering if this is normal or if maybe it has a leak, never owned a air suspension vehicle before.

Sounds like a leak, you can use a spat bottle with water and a little dish soap to spray down the bags to check for leaks.
Could be in the fold area, you will see a line around the bag where it folds over from the bag has deflated or it could be where the line goes into the bag/solenoid o-ring connection.
That's a good place to start. The rear bags are easy to replace.
I would also suggest you take some time and introduce yourself, post pics of your car, list the things you would like to do to etc...
You will also see a sticky for noobs that addresses a lot of the common problems with the car, and use the search function :) you will find a wealth of info and a ton of support...
Just not a whole lot of support for folks that aren't willing to put in the effort to help themselves and put in some effort. If you get stuck on something these guys will be here for you.

my rear bags on my 98 mark keep lowering all the way down every few days is this normal?

99% of the time it's gonna be a leak in the spring around the fold at the bottom. Probably dryrot. Especially if they're the original springs. Replacing the rear springs is a pie job. I did the ones on my '96 in about 30-45 minutes. But just to be absolutely sure, use the dish soap in a spray bottle suggested earlier to find the leak. I'm still betting on dryrot cracks.

Ok just got in my car and the "check air ride suspension" came on, now all four bags seem to be fully inflated and the car is stuck that way...its stuck in the lifted position, man this sucks...ive always wanted a mark even when my brother kept trying to talk me into getting a super coupe...i guess the air ride has to go..

And yes im using the search button, i no im a "noob" to this forum but im at work and only have my phone to research this problem, is it safe to drive the car like this. Any advice would be appreciated..

check for any height sensors that have fallen off.
if all four corners are high and it won't vent, you might have a stuck vent.
wait for some other people to chime in. lots of really smart people around here.

mmm, supercoupe. but the marks are more comfortable i think.

As long as its not in 4x4 mode (way up in the air) or slammed on the ground you should be fine to drive somewhere.
Like the op said, check the ride height sensors first.
I liked my air ride but when it started to go I swapped everything over to tbird components. I just didn't want the hassle any more.

Okay ill do that, thanks for the help...

Well I turned off the air ride button started the car then turned the button to the on position then restated the car and now the "check air ride" is gone and its working fine...would parking the car on an uneven surface cause this, cus today I parked it somewere different cause my brother had his tbird sc in my driveway when I got home ....,maybe my mark was jealous....idk

Gorgeous Mark dude! wish mine looked that good, maybe my daughter (14) wouldn't dislike it so much... she says it looks like an "old man" car and calls it the Hearse.

Glad you got your "check" message off. I just got mine last March and previous owner had converted it to springs, so I don't know what to tell you 'bout air bags... but you have come to the right place for help, there is some Serious Mark knowledge here!

Oh, and that pic in post #13--- ROTFLMAO over that one! haha...

Thanks bro, ya that pic was just a typical day at work....im a security guard on night shift so we find interesting ways to pass the time...lol..

id say the rear bags are shot for your sagging problem, if the car is sitting a certain way, uneven ground etc, you could expose a small crack in a bag. and if one is leaking the other wont be able to hold it up. as for it staying high it sounds like the vent solenoid at the compressor is sticking. id replace the rear bags and toss a spider valve in the system for the vent

my mark does that as well. after a day or two of sitting without being started, the right side goes really low, the left doesn't really go down, just the right side....
