Nice.

You should find a nice area with no traffic and embarrass him.

I really love your wheels!
They look really well on your black Mark!

I agree with BlackLS06, challenge and humiliate him ;)

oh i forgot he has a bbk cold air intake w/o a tune, but that won't help him haha :)

Even with a tune if he is stock motor he doesn't stand a chance. I don't think he even has 200 at the wheels.

I was gonna say head over there. lol

@ BlackLS06 - yeah i doubt he has 200 at the wheels. He says stock his car his 225 hp and 300 ft lbs of torque, ford over rated the 225 hp its more like 215 and then to the wheels maybe like 190 or something. He really doesn't realize what a mark viii can do lol, i've shown him tons of videos, i guess a real ass whooping will open his eyes.

@NYC LS8- Thats a good place to do it, nice straight away for awhile.

Pull the silencer and do the 10 minute tuneup on the Stang and it will be close to even.
I did the previous to a neighbors '89 notch with AOD and 2.73 gears. With me driving it ran a best of 14.59 at 95.XX doing the 1-3-1 shuffle. Adding gears and a converter would make that Mustang a low 14 second car.

How did that removed headlight work for ya? Did you also have th front of the airbox removed as well?

I don't know, I guess it didn't hurt. But the airbox is removed entirely, so I have an "HAI". I figured removing the headlight would help force some ambient air into the cone.

I noticed your front bumper cover chrome strip is painted in that pic. Looks better, paint the rest.

Lol i wish it was painted, theres no strips on there right now. I'm waiting to find strips in black instead of chrome, i really don't have the time to paint the strips. Know where i can find the strips in black? It's growing on me, i really like the look of no chrome now.

They sell the stuff by the rolls on ebay and I think AZ and places like that have it. Just scuff it up with some 800 grit, wet sand it smooth with 1000 grit and then primer it with two coats. Let dry and then wet sand the primer smooth. Use a tack cloth and then paint with gloss black by Dupli Color acrylic enamel with about 3 coats, 15 min apart from each other and let it dry for a few hours and then use the same in a clear coat. I would coat it at least twice to three times @ 15 min apart for each coat. You should be happy with the strip and the paint should last as long as it has something good to bond to. Give it a few days to all cure out.

I really wouldn't worry about any orange peel look on that slim of a piece of molding. Someone would really have to be bending and looking. When the scrap guys took my car away a year later, the whole rear bumper cover was still shining.

Yeah i know they sell it by the roll by for the life of me i cannot find it in black, maybe im not searching right but i can't find it anywhere. Idk id like to find the stuff in black that comes on a roll like the chrome instead of painting, i really don't have a spot to do this. I'll keep your post just in case so i know what to do, thanks again
