Those who have ordered from mandrel bent exhuast, what size pipes came in the kit or could you order any size. What was the issue with them.

i ordered from them. i think the only size you can get is 2.5in it was a tight fit but there is not much room down there for 2 pipes to begin with. overall i am very happy with the product and would recommend them to anybody.

thats what I have on my car. I never seen anything smaller or bigger then 2.5 that they sell. but I am happy with what I got from them.

Thats what I have and they fit perfect. Even my IRS brace cleared them with no problem.

Ok I was wanting 3". Why you wonder ( I know it might drag my car is lowered ) cause I want to use my stock muffler for a low rumble not like with aftermarket mufflers. Since I don't have any other mods I really don't want a loudder exhuast.

Obviously you never heard my car. Very deep and low rumble. Yeah its a bit louder but really sounds nice. The 3" pipe wont help too much in the lower freequency as much as it will hurt performance and be a bear to fit.
Just get a resonated high flow x-pipe and it will keep the car quiet. Chambered mufflers will also produce a lower tone then straight through.

With a full exhuast I don't want to have to deal with drone . I know a 3" will fit. My buddy did a 3" on his 95 tbird.

also this makes no sense....3" exhaust into stock muffler???

And the key to drone is not the pipe diameter. The stock system don't drone. The important parts are using a nice thick walled tube like their stainless kit. DLF has it and he has the best looking exhaust I ever seen. And the other thing is to have a piece of steel welded across the two pipes every 6-9 inches. Mine only had one put on even though I told the shop at least every foot and I had no drone. As the x-pipe broke in the system would drone a little under partial acceleration but having two more pieces of steel welded across got rid of it. :)

I was just about to say that.

Wish I could go record my exhaust with the new camera but I am trying to not run the car anymore untill I crack open the motor tomorrow..... well covers anyway.

I don't won't it loud at wot either just soft low rumble but that my mind thinking. I've never heard a bigger exhuast pipe into stock mufflers.

good luck with that venture...hope it goes well your dyno vids give a good idea what your car sounds like...and it sounds good

From what you are talking about what you should do is cut the 3rd cat .. then run a 2 in 2 out muffler at the resonator ... then pipes to the rear. 2.25 is all you'd need ...

Nice sound not loud good rumble ... I love it ...

The idea you have just won't work ... not good plus to try and get two 3" pipes to the rear good luck ...

2.5 is tough enough.

I thought of doing just that. Adding just an aftermarket muffler with stock pipes. But I plan on doing a full exhust later. But I'm not ready to buy the muffler yet. I know a 3" fit seen it done

We all know it will fit. That's not the fuggin point. I am done here. You can lead a horse to water but have to kick him in the nuts to drink.

Can I haz one O dem diesel stacks dem dar trucks run, sticking out my trunk?

You think it funny its been some what done. A hand full of guy might remember the guy the had some pipe laying around that he added some pipe from his tips to come up around the bumper to the top of the trunk.

No joke. Its real. Might be hard to do a search on it.
