Guys, for a little over 1 year now my driver's side door has been hanging a bit lower than usual. About 7-8 months ago the guy that painted my cordovan 97 showed me how to help the door a bit by using a jack to force the door back up a bit. He did just that & it worked. The door went back into place but in the last couple months it started doing the same thing. I have to slam the door pretty hard in order to close it properly.
Well, I "tried" to imitate what the car painter did but instead I made it waaaaaay worst. Now my door is hanging lower than it should by about a half inch. It's clipping the lower part of my fender pretty badly. I had to give my prairie tan to my my wife for her to drive because I know there will be permanent damage done to the car if that door continues to be open/closed. Not to mention how hard I have to yank it from the inside of the car for it to close properly.
SO..... How do I bring the door back up to its original place?
