I am going to be having a bon fire on Saturday October 15th that you guys are more than welcome to come to. there are a few hotels within 15mins and Saturday during the day I was thinking that maybe we could go to a couple of local wineries. Anyone interested. I have an event on FB set up, if you arent friends with me, my full name is John K. Gilbert on there.

I would like to get a head count so we can plan for a little cook out (Burgers and hotdogs kinda thing)

Looks like we got some LS guys that are interested. I think as of now we have about 12 people or so coming out. I am going to make sure I get around 35-40 burgers. Think that is enough?

Also I might get about 20 hot dogs.
 
I am located about 30 mins directly east of Akron. There are a few hotels within 15 mins of my house, I am at capacity unless you want to tent camp!
 
anytime you get there is fine. we are going to try to hit 2 local wineries leaving at about 12:30ish and plan to be back around 3 so we are home for when people get there.
 
In response to above, you mean on Friday or Saturday?

I'm guessing Saturday since it's 10-15.

I was planning on leaving Friday night, but if you aren't getting together until 3 pm, I could leave Saturday morning at 9 from my house as it's a 6 hour drive for me.
 
It was nice meeting everyone yesterday. I hope everyone has a safe ride home today. Don't be strangers over on our side of the boards, stop over once in awhile and I will do the same :)

Sorry I missed it. Been broke after my trip to bowling green, ky for the NMRA race, and had family down this weekend making things hectic.... next time maybe
 
579 mile later and home. next time order clear weather. had a good time got DEBBIE home without any problems. hope she gets the new compressor with out any problems.going to hit the shower then bed.jd
 
Yea no crap about the weather.... Get back home and it was Sunny and 65 :D

My teleporter couldn't quite break the 205kV threshold, I think the #4 transformer has been leaking and affecting it's ferric kinetic properties, otherwise I'd have been there.

seems that you need an Electrical Engineers specialties, specifically in Power. Working on a 500/230/115kV substation right now in PA... :)
