Ls koncepts, so I see they went up on the lse bodykit. How come? I was saving for the $1860 or something like that. Also if any one wants to trade lse off for oem bodykit + cash let me know and if anyof you guys have a McLaren grille laying around let me know. I'm aware of the one that sold on ebay today. Forgive me if this needs to be in the forsale thread.
 
Thanks for the info, and congrats for winning. I was debating on bidding ,but change my mind for that reason of having to get it sanded and repainted. So hopefully i'll get another chance at getting the grille.

I will keep an eye out, what color is your LS btw?

Another perk of having a McLaren besides the fact it is sexy, the resale value is only going to go up.

Yeah, I hadn't realized that. The all red tails also went up. They are now at 440, use to be around 330

Also that was me that won that black Mclaren just now. I got it for $200! Great deal IMO - already painted black! Would have cost me more than that to get one new/unfinished + paint.

Nice. Welcome to the claren crowd. One thing I didn't like about the mclaren grille, I took care of it in mine though, was the area where the clips on the bottom of the grille are. You can see the molding and how the circles dont go through. On mine I drilled the holes in, the clips are in between the hole anyways so it didn't damage them and they are still on there. Just saying, since you said you had that OCD thing, if it bugged me it might bug you more. You wrote on that thread I made about it that you couldn't see it when mounted, you could also ust put black tape on it, but that is if the center is the color of your car, not black....but yours is black. Just throwing it out there.

Yup I can plan drilling those suckers out just like you did. I am super anxious to see how the McLaren will look on my car.

Dude, I actually put a bid in for that McLaren grille and was the high bidder at $202.50 but decided to retract the bid. Reason I retracted was that I'd have to repaint to match my LS color, pewter, and thought that by the time I'm done with all that it would be close to $300. Not worth it for me right now. Maybe one day.
 
Andy, so does that mean you'll be selling the black LSE grille? :D
 
Not yet. I wanna see how I like everything before selling. I'll let u guys know though if I do.
 
If it was me, I wouldn't sell. You might want to change it up here and there so you dont get tired of the look or just to change things up a bit. A few people here have sold an lse or mclaren and then wish they hadn't later on.

I came up on a gen1 grille yesterday. Bought it for that cdc project I will be starting soon. I just need a gen2 reg grille now, which I sold not too long ago.

My guess is their cost has increased. Most likely they come from Ford which sometimes increases. I know for my Mark VIII new headlight housings started at $500 wen to $700 and I believe they are now up to $1200.

I saw the Gen2 LSE tails went up to. I was finaly thinking about getting them but now and on the fence about it.
 
Yea I am keeping it Alax. I am like you, keep several grilles around in case I feel like changen it up from time to time.

Nice. Yeah, seeing the lse grille in person with an lse bumper to go with it, makes me want one now. They look really nice paired up.

Ford sent us a price increase in April and that's why the price went up. Ford has about 2 or 3 major price updates per year and we have to change our prices to reflect those increase unfortunately.
 
Did some digging/searching and it lead back to one of my original post lol... So I finally got the LSE front bumper cover but Can't seem to find the sideskirts nor rear bumper valance...And also the chrome insert that lines the mouth of the bumper?

I asked about lse side skirts and he gave me the cost and part #, about 1k for both, but I deleted that email.
