I have put a 2nd gen lse bumper on my 00 ls and I have came to realize that the inner fenders(splash aprons) don't reach to the bottum of the bumper cover. So they kind of just hang there and rub against the wheel.
If I were to get 04-06 inner fenders would they match up exact?

Not sure what you are talking about. I don't have anything rubbing on my wheels after I did mine. Do you have a pic?

So your saying you had no problems with your splash guard matching up with the gen2 lse bumper cover? Because on mine the bottum of the splash guard is sitting up 4 inches from where it should be screwed in at.
I'm pretty sure the lse bumper is lower to the ground than my orginal bumper therefore this not matching up.

Splash guard as in under the engine, or the inner fender splash guards. The Fender ones attach to the foglight brackets.

The engine splashguard should still be able to reach the new bumper holes. Take a photo of the area you speak of.

I'm assuming this is what you are talking about. No I don't have a problem with mine and it doesn't rub on my tires.

i don't see the big problem with the gap, but you said there was rubbing, maybe you installed something wrong?

I was talking about the inner fender splash guard. SO it just attaches to the foglight bracket instead?

Oh there's no problem with the gap at all. I just thought it had to reach to the bottum to fasten them together but I guess it bolts to the foglight bracket??

It is probably different from gen1 to gen2...

But my fender splash guards attach to my foglight brackets.

don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but for those with gen 1's that got the gen 2 lse bumper, did you have to do any modding in order for the fog lights to work?

The only thing that I did was splice the harness that went to the fog light into the foglight wire on the car. The reason for this was my fogs came with H8 bulbs and when I bought the harnesses for them, they didn't plug directly into the facotry harness which was for a 9145 bulb. So I cut the ends off the aftermarket harness and the harness on the car and spliced them together using bullet crimp connections.

I made a piggyback connector for mine. Used a 9145 connector that plugs into the OEM plug, and a H8 bulb socket. Splicing would've been easier and cheaper though.
