LSE bumper

So i ordered a 2004 lse bumper and recieved a first gen lse bumper in great condition. He isn't answering my phone calls or anything so i think i may be stuck with it. It's not a person from LVC or anything. I was curious should i just sell it and get the right one that i should have got..

Email ken. I say return it. Less hassle. You might not get what you paid for and then you still gotta turn around and re-order it. Whats the diff between gen 1 and gen 2 lse bumpers. Size?

That CDC kit you just bought won't fit in a Gen II LSE bumper. At least I don't think so anyway. There really is a big difference look them up and compare side to side.

I tried looking for pictures but I couldn't see a difference in the pictures I found. IS the Gen 1 lse smaller from top to bottom? What is the difference?

Was referring to this. I think he had me mixed up with Alax. I know Alax bought the grill kit. That had nothing to do with what i asked. There is a slight difference i think between the two bumpers. Not a whole lot but would be a slight gap.

Yeah I was reffering to that too.Well I hope it'll fit. I emailed Ken at lskoncepts. He prob knows the exact differences. So what are you planning on doing with the lse front ?

Im not sure id like to probably trade for the one i need in reality but thats unlikely. I will more than likely just sell it and cut my losses or something.

How can you not tell the diff between 1st gen LSE and 2nd gen?

Think he means exact measurements if theres any in width and height. I wouldn't sell it but i cant put it on my 2nd gen

Thanks, I see it now. The difference wasn't visible with the pics I found. They weren't as clear or close up as those.I still need the dimensions of it. Too close to call it from pics...Adam, why dont you return it to lskoncepts and get the right one sent. 600+ dollars and you dont get the right one. I'd go get what I paid for.Is it too much hassle or what?

Alax7 you are correct I was initially referring to you. If you wanted to use the CDC lower grille then this 02 LSE bumper would be the one you need. I am not sure that the lower opening is the same size or even shape on the Gen II. The picture post gives you an idea of the differences. Shape, opening size, trim, sidemarkers and other things are all different. As far as overall size I have no idea. I do know many people put the Gen II onto the Gen I. So they must be somewhat compatible.
Having said that, Adam said he did not buy the bumper off of someone on here. Ken from LSKoncepts is on here so it probably wasn't him.

As far as the original post if you can't or don't want to use the grille that was sent to you I am sure someone on here would want that bumper. They don't make it anymore from what I have heard over the past couple of years.
