we have a lot of comedians on this forum -____- i think administrators need to make section for dumbass comments for LVC members,so there they can converse with each other possibly set up a meet where they all can go and sodimize one another.

Relax, they're just having a little fun at your expense since lately its been mainly new threads with very simple and a lot of the same repeated question.
You want a real answer, here you go. An engine swap is too expensive for most when its swapping an 3.9 for a working 3.9 considering the value of the ls. An LSX engine swap is way too expensive for most, not worth the headache for little gains, not worth trouble in the end. An LSX swap is not really considered being this is a Lincolns ls, or FORD vehicle and you want to put a Chevy engine in it. Some have thought about dropping in a beefy ford engine in the ls, but again, its not worth the trouble, its hard to make EVERYTHING work like stock or how it should, you'll have to swap out the tranny and a few other thins to use a different engine, and in the end, you will be lucky if you can get tags for your car after all that money and work you just put into it.
Its not impossible, its just not practical and not in the interest of most to do it when you take into account the value of their ls and the money they would have to drop into it for the swap.
Recently, a member has been working on putting a 302 from a ford explorer into the ls, as well as a manual trans from a v6 mustang. He has had some good progress, check it out.

someone that needs to post this type of question, without already knowing the provided answers, probably isn't someone who really has the ability to complete said task. lets review your poll questions:
1. IS IT HARD TO DO
If you dont already know the answer to that question prior to starting this idiotic thread, then I dont have much faith in it being completed
2. NOT WORTH THE MONEY
Considering you have no idea what the cost would be, and that the "worth" of the cost is based on ones own ability to pay for it, makes it a worthless question
3.COST TO MUCH FOR LITTLE REWARD
Not to far off the 2nd question, but i'll play along... again, still based on one's own position to be able to afford these mods.
4. NEVER CROSSED YOUR MIND
Dont know what relevance that would have with making a decision, but yes, swapping engines has crossed the majority of our minds, and many threads have been started to discussed it.
If you are truly looking for information regarding this type of modification, Then why dont you spend some time and come up with some big boy questions, and we'll be happy to give or $.02, like we've done all the other times this has been brought up. If your feelings are too hurt because we we're having a little fun with this moronic thread, then i guess your SOL.
A lot cheaper just to build the LS motor NA and call it a day. I'd say with a properly BUILT motor and a super good tune, you could push close to 400hp NA. It will save you thousands, a headache, your windows will roll down, and your speedometer will work. Someone has a LSx V8 already. He's asking 14 grand I believe, but that LS has been around different owners like a one legged French hooker. As for your comment earlier about the DumbAzz section, I wouldn't wake a sleeping dragon with a pitchfork.
As for my LS Hybrid, I'm getting 42mpgs off my Prius swap. Thinking of upgrading the motors though. Not enough umph.

@ Alax7 and centason thanks for your input. I remeber seeing the thread of LSX pop up but didnt get to read all what people had to say. Reason i even posted because i have seen a rx7 and rx8 with a ls1 swap but i didnt ask the owners all of the details about the swap. Its funny how a simple thought hits home to the few idiots that roam these forums.
