So, it's my birthday today; I wen't out to my car to and turn the ignition. I heard the alternator try to start the car, but after about a second that sound changed to a slightly duller version of it (which you'll here in a video I'll provide a link to).
And now that I've tried starting it a few times, my battery is pretty much dead, so I've got it on a charger right now.
I bet it could be the battery, but while I wait, I figured I might as well as get a head start on other possibilities just in case the battery isn't the problem.

After popping my hood I found what looks to be some kind of vacuum tube popped off my intake pipe and it looks to have oil on it. Any relation to my car not starting??

Also, my car put out an engine code about a month ago that said that my car is running lean. Any relation? Oddly enough, that code cleared on it's own...

I'll take whatever advice you can give!

Hook the hose back up to the intake tube, replace the battery, and try it. My bet is the battery.

Your starter tries to start the engine. Your alternator tries to charge the battery when the engine is running.

That intake air leak past the MAF is enough to keep the engine from starting. The MAF will read too little air going in and so the PCM will inject too little fuel for it to start. It was probably leaking before, and that caused your lean code.

You need to replace the part or to glue it back together with RTV or something. Clearly the tape didn't work out long term.

Here's the update:
The battery charge took about 2 hours until the charger read "full charge". My LS started right up, just gave it the wait to learn the idle again.

I'll have to replace the battery soon. Lame, but could be much worse. Any tips on where to get a good deal on the battery?

Also, I plan on replacing that tube that goes from the intake to the driver's side valve cover.
