Another blue LS with plates down below :shifty: i was thinking of taking my LSE grille off but I am going to keep it. The only change I want to make are the wheels. I am going to try to hold off until Dec. 1. I still do not have my car back.

Alright fine, you got me. But I think at first glance it does resemble an unmarked police cruiser. I just thought I'd share with you my winterizing of the LS. I sanded down the original 5 spoke "chrome" wheels and painted them glossy black, and then put a few coats of clear over that. I also took off my lse grille, cuz I like the look of the original grille with the black wheels. And then I put in my extra set of floor mats, which just happen to be black.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with outcome. I think when I get time, I will sand down the chrome on the grille and paint that to match the blue.

To the average joe it would probably pass, to a trained eye i'd blow right past you. Reminds me of traffic today....everyone was slowing down due to a Marauder just cruising along. There are tell tail signs that will give it away. Had a trooper sneak up on me in a '03ish Taurus the other day....NOT! Try again.

lack of antennas is a dead give away. Unmarked would at least have low-pro snub ant. Also, most cruisers run flat black wheels instead of gloss.

But over-all, could fit the bill
