I know, never had to put one on my beastie and we occasionally need little reminders of how some have to mess with those good looks....

we need to have ours up front too but apparemtly half the cars I see DAILY from kirkland to issaquah don't have front license plates....so I got to think...if tons of ppl refuse to wear it...the cops would get annoyed and not bother unless they pull you over for something more serious and then just add on the fact you have no front license. I mean there's tons of other things they can get more revenue for than a missing license plate which is what?.....75 dollar ticket?
 
I got pulled over twice in just a few days for not having my front plate on. I live in a small town, so I see the same cops everyday. I wasn't going to press my luck any further. Cops around here already don't like me.
 
Funny thing about front plates. My father had a Corvette from 1988 until 2007 without a front plate and he was never pulled over for not having the front plate. I run my LS without a front plate for a week and I made friends with the Eden Prairie MN Police. I think the police all over are looking at making this an issue now where they have not in the past.
 
well pete then move here to washington, you won't be bothered. I have illegal tint, no front plate, I have a loud sound system and a gun in my car and I have yet to be pulled over :P
 
I have illegal tint and no front plate also, I guess I'm just lucky, or they see that my car is better looking without it LOL..

I haven't had a front plate on the LS since 2005. It ruins the looks of the LS. In Illinios, front plates are required. I have received one written warning ticket. I don't plan on ever putting the front plate back on.:p

As for the LS violating Illinios code: window tint is to dark, rear clear license plate cover, no front plate, illegal light equipement, etc... I don't care. I pay my taxes and don't break the law. Well in the fact that I am not hurting anyone. I am not up to anything shaddy. Unlike SweetPete cruising the high schools.:rolleyes:....:lol:

:lol:.... Deep down inside. The police wish they were rolling LSes as patrol cars.:cool:
 
I have mine zip tied for now.. I know Ghetto... lol but I'm not willing to drill in my new LSE bumper . I'm going to take it off this week until I get pulled over and get a warning lol

btw today I drove past a total of 10 patrol cars on empty-nonbusy roads today between driving to my gym..and from my gym..and NONE of them pulled me over for my tint...license plate....nor my loud music :P and I was cranking Clawfinger's "Catch me"
