LS in Slippery conditions

Are you sure you can read? These are all from the owner's manual:

Mark, That brings up a question,

In my case my button on the center console has the traction control symbol as shown above, but when I tun my key to on,(not yet started) the light on the dash/instrument cluster shows the advance trac sysmbol. My manual as you posted says as equipted.
Any ideas?

I don't have my original window sticker, I think someone posted once a place to email our VIN, and they would respond with specific equiptment.

Those buttons break easily, perhaps someone swapped it for whatever was available, in your case the basic Traction Control™ button. I would tend to believe the cluster.

I believe your LS is an ultimate - didn't they all come with AdvanceTrack?

Press the info button until it says "Advancetrac ok" or "Traction Control ok", then you can know for sure.

I just started the car so I could turn on / off,, and the message center says traction control, But I have both symbols so I guess I'm still at square 1. I do know that it is very secure on full throttle on wet roads. Iv'e never looked to see if different symbols flash at differnt times. Maybe I am a traction control car with a advance trac dash!
