LS Family

Not here this is a car I bought for my wife. Plus I like all the stuff in the car to work. No need to reinvent the wheel.

If you bought it as what it was intended to be then no need to mess with it. The 3.9 suits my needs for what I need right now. But eventually down the road I plan to put a bigger motor in my Cobra and at that point the LS may just get the hand me down.
 
Cobras are nice but fugly interior.

Id rather have a 2005-2010 GT supercharged.
 
Not that Cobra's are rare but GT's are like a ssholes, everybody and their dog has one. That's also one of the main reasons I like the LS, you don't see them every day.

Oh trust me i have tons of respect for the cobra.

I love everything about the terminator except for the interior. give it a 2005 interior and its perfect.

Yeah everyone has GT's but even more people have V6 stangs and its all about how you mod it and make it yours. Not everybody has them modded, and most who do only go as far as intake, wheels, and sounds.

If i were to own one i would definitely have some type of forced induction on it.

A whipple GT is no joke. Paired up with forged internals and you can eat cobras all day long.
 
Unless we're talking the new 5.0's no thank you on the GT. I just sold my 92 5.0 so that I could get back into my LS and would much rather have a pushrod than the SOHC 4.6.
 
I was talking about the sohc 4.6 yes.

The 5.0s are nicer but i dont like the body style and cant afford one anyways. 05-06 is more in my price range.

And ive seen many LS's here but ive only seen two that had wheels....the rest bone stock.
 
I saw a nice tri white at the mall today.. Like Alex's.. I was staring (of course since mine is put away for the winter) until I got to the front and saw the handicap tag hanging from the rear view mirror.. I would say it was an 03-04 and they didn't even take the warning sticker off for the parking brake.. :lol:

speaking of making it yours... a buddy of my dads is a body guy, drove a v6 mustang. about an 05, maybe not, can't remember. nothing special. rear ended some guy. smashed up the front end, blah blah blah.

anyway, ended up a rear-ended highway patrol mustang with a 5.4 in it. :confused: chopped the front and rears apart and pieced it together. looks like a v6 mustang, has a 5.4 in it.

now, i'm not one for mustangs. they are just too many. but man, that was a neat car. i didn't even know they made 5.4 mustangs. maybe they didn't. but thats what this guy said anyway.
 
The GT500 is the new vehicle from SVT with the 5.4L engine. The upgrade to the GT500 is the super snake thats pushes 600hp at the crank also the 5.4L

The only cobra with a 5.4 was the Cobra R and they only made a few of them. The rest were the 4.6L modular.

And the fox bodies were 5.0 or 5.8 for the R model.

Now that is impressive.. The exhaust sounds awesome from the factory and it has a rev limiter in the 8-8500 range.. Astonishing out of a V8..
 
maybe he was full of it. i dunno. but it did have a 5.4 and it was pieced together. i'm sure they drop in without much work.
