Has anyone else looked at the lower control arm and though that it looked really small and weak?

Someone tried that, but they sucked balls... ask Frogman...
Dont hit pot holes then? simple solution. Think of all the cars that dont have a problem.
how about this one?
its Audi's. pretty much the same,
simply put, this setup is like many front suspensions on th road, but better in some areas because Lincoln used strong cast metal instead of bent / stamped metal ,i am not saying its the best, but its better than alot of othershttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/wheel43_controlarms.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel43.shtml&usg=__057dmaK3RYMvIACUvIt6b-kS4AA=&h=730&w=522&sz=251&hl=en&start=7&tbnid=MmBuV27b-QfK6M:&tbnh=141&tbnw=101&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dfront%2Bsuspension%2Bdiagram%2Baudi%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG![]()
WOW what a F'n ordeal that is on an Audi!
you want to see some flimsy front suspension setups go to the junk yard and look at the foreign sub compact cars. most of them are litteraly a couple of tubes and an a-arm
