I have an '02 LS8, this color: http://home.olemiss.edu/~badwf/ls2k.gif (a tan, pale gold sorta color...I think it's pueblo gold or light parchment gold, but those are guesses, anyone know I can ascertain the name of the color?).

Now, I've been looking at Ken's site since he has that nice 10% off now (and I planned on spending a lot) and it raised a lot of questions for me.

First I was looking at these: http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/xetronic-digital-hid-xenon-conversion-kit-p-136.php
as I've really wanted HIDs. Now, basically I want the BEST for my baby. Will the H4 with the 12000k (violet purple) fit? Is that everything I need for the conversion?

Next, http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/blu...ndsfree-car-kit-w-ultrasonic-backup-p-130.php this seems useful for the parking function, something in my Aviator that I've always wanted in the LS. However, it seems annoying that it has to plug into the cigarette lighter. Can it be wired like the regular mirror, without the ugly obstruction of a wire hanging down from the ceiling of the car?

http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=75 I was considering these as well. The amber on the turn signals has kinda gotten under my skin, but I'm not sure how the clear ones would look on my car. Any ideas here?

http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/new-style-lincoln-ls-eyebrows-p-25.php how would these look with my color car, either in gloss black or carbon fiber?

And now finally can someone explain what these two parts are?
http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/lincoln-ls-clear-side-marker-lens-p-23.php
http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/lincoln-ls-predator-angel-eyes-install-kit-p-93.php
I've heard of angel eyes before but I've no idea what they are. The descriptions don't help much either...

I know, I'm a total noob and asked a lot. But help out a fellow LS owner eager to accessorize his ride! Thanks

i can't help much but u may have the light parchment gold

and i would go with black eyebrows or none.
as for this,
"And now finally can someone explain what these two parts are?
http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/linc...-lens-p-23.php",
those are the side turnsignal lens for the 2000-02 sport, they go on the bumper

and the amber lens thats gotten under your skin, i think u should just take the lens out and get a bulb that burns orange. i think that looks good

Angel eyes are "halos" (often CCFL rings) that encircle the individual lamps inside the headlamp assembly. They glow with the parking lights; if you go to LSK's intro page (http://www.lskoncepts.com/), you can see what they look like--they're the whitish rings between the turn signals and the big "LSK" in the middle.

As for whether or not those Xentronics will fit you car, if Ken is selling them for your LS (and the link you posted is to the LS version), they'll fit.

As for the eyebrows, they're not my cup of tea, but lots of folks like them.

I'll give you my input on this stuff.
1)HIDs are awesome, mine are factory so i dont know how aftermarkets look, but they make a big difference.
2)That rearview mirror thingy looks alittle tacky. I cant see is functioning very well and i'd assume it would be noticable and ugly.
3)If your gonna go with eyelids on a non-black car than i'd suggest painting them to match. To me a black eyebrow on a tan car would be fugly.
4)The amber turn signal, most likely you can pull yours apart and remove them. Its easy and lots of instructions. Afterwards i'd just leave them out. The chrome reflector looks good exposed, just need to switch to an amber bulb.
5) I decided to leave the amber bumper reflector intact, its a legal thing and why give yourself a permanent reason for a traffic stop.
6) Angel/Predator eyes arent my thing.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna forget abvout the eyebrows and that mirror thing (though I did really was a parking sensing sorta thing). I'm gonna go with the lighting stuff + intake for right now.
Now, what's the difference between:
http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/v8-polished-aluminum-cold-air-intake-tube-p-84.php

and

http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/v8-cold-air-stainless-steel-intake-tube-p-5.php
to justify the large price difference?

I want one of those in addition to this: http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/20002002-kkm-truerev-sport-induction-intake-kit-p-6.php

Should I see a pretty decent HP boost?

Legal thing!!!!   Priceless. You can get amber bulbs for those. Long as the light is the legal color. The law can't do anything about it.

example of the "clear headlight markers" with an amber bulb, McLaren grille, and angel-eye headlights.

Is that your car? I notice that the amber bumper reflector has been left intact. ;) He's talking about the reflector in the bumper, not cleared corners.

I know. I just haven't done mine yet. But here is an example of my Beretta GTZ with clear side markers. I have red and amber bulbs in them. They are legal as long as you have the currect color in them.

There are pros and cons to each of the V8 tubes. The first is price. The aluminum tube is cheaper since it is cheaper to make. The bad thing about the aluminum tube is that it takes alot to keep it polished up and it dings up easier than the stainless steel version. The con to the stainless steel version is price.

The KKM True Rev Sport Induction kit is probably the best bang for the buck. Adding that and either tube above should yield you around 10-15 HP increase.

Couple things, the "legal" thing from above i was talking about the turn signal, and yes an orange bulb is perfectly fine as i did the whole headlight clearing on my '02 LS. The side marker, that your wrong on. The car needs an orange reflector...not an orange bulb. That GTZ is indeed in violation. Here is a direct quote from the statute for you to read:

Lights visible to the front of a vehicle must be white to amber in color. On vehicles manufactured prior to July 1, 1973, the front turn signals may emit a white light. The front turn signals of all newer vehicles must emit an amber light. Registered vehicles are prohibited from being equipped with tinted / non-transparent headlamp covers.

Lights visible to the rear of a vehicle must be amber to red in color, with the exception of the registration and back-up lamps. Every vehicle must have a white light illuminating the vehicle's rear license tag when the headlamps and tail lamps are activated. Reflectors visible from the rear of a vehicle must be red.

Lights and reflectors visible from the side of a vehicle must be amber towards the front of the vehicle and red towards the rear of the vehicle.

Looks like your GTZ has multiple violations. Whether someone cares to ticket you for them is another thing, but still in violation.

Cool. Now, you say that the aluminum dings up easily and doesn't stay polished. From a performance standpoint though, is there really a difference? I'm willing to spend the extra money if it's going to yield greater performance/reliability, but I'm not convinced.

They are the exact same specs so performance wise there would not be any noticable difference. As for the aluminum dinging up and not staying polished is not true. It will hold up but it will need to be cared for if you want it to remain new looking.

That may bo true were you live, BUT NOT in Illinios. I have had a ticket for neon lights. The statue the ticket was written on was for vehicle lighting. The Illinios the law reads where and what color. The side markers on the Beretta are reflective. BUT they are running lights only. They are lit amber and red. the only way you would know see the side reflects unlit would be during the day or parked.

BTW YES. the Beretta has more violations then you can count.:p Oh yeah. So does the Lincoln.:p :p
