Ok my latest problem...my brakes are crap. they go all the way to the floor and barly stop. i just changed the master cylender and bled the brakes and put in synthetic flued. No help. Help please!

The booster push rod is fully located into the master cyl right? I ask this cos someone on another forum had same symptom after bleeding and that was the cause. (pushrod not fully located, dont ask me how - Lol.) Other than that, maybe more bleeding required? Remember also: diagonal split system.

Also, if you have TC you can bleed the ABS pump yourself.

Forgot to add, you did bleed the master cyl first, right? - makes bleeding the rest quicker.

Well, if you did everything described, then maybe its either a leak or bad master cylinder perhaps?

Thats why I asked. I heard your not suppose to mix silicon based DOT 5 with anything at all - that means to remove ANY trace of it, to the point of replacing calipers.

Then others say its not the biggest issue, that it will "float" above the Dot 3 & 4.

How did you flush out all of the synth? According to those that say mixing is bad, even one drop - including that in the ABS pump, can cause major problems.

But if the fluids not the problem, gotta be air.
