Looking for a good 93 (1st gen.) Grill

Don, I paid $323 for mine NIB and now I think they (tasca.com) have quit selling them but if you want one that's good with no pits in the chrome and never been mounted on a car, all I can find is the one below. $339 + $9.00 shipping. I found used ones that claimed to be in excellent condition for around $200 and up to $250 so I decided to just pay the cost and know I was getting something new. It also comes with a new brace, painted gloss black. All new ones do. I still have mine in the closet. Didn't need it.

He is correct. As for mine, no, I have no intentions at all in selling mine. I bought all new everything across the front of the car, from one corner lens to the other. Close to $1400 for everything shipped but I done this because the car is garaged and I don't tailgate people going down the HWY, eliminating pits and chips.

BTW, I do have a grille for sale but the chrome on it isn't top notch and the side mounts were broken off before I ever removed it but it does not have any effect on the tightness of it being mounted. All fins are in tact and none are broken, just faded spots on chrome. $50.00 free shipping in the USA for me to take it out of the attic. If interested, PM me and I will provide you with pics.

I would be interested in your unchromed grille I'm trying to find one that is in one piece so i can paint it body color
 
Here is the grille and again, both side mounts are broke off but with it being mounted with 5 screws on the bumper cover and three on the top, it's not going anywhere. Sorry, one of the bottom mounts is also broke off as pictured. That $50 includes shipping so really the grille would only be about $35 to $38 and the rest, I have to pay for shipping.

Don, I finally get a week day off tomorrow, so I will go to the junk yard and take pics of the grill for you and let you decide if its in good enough shape to grab. I'll take pics of seats and other stuff too.
 
Mine broke out some of the top piece. I glued it back in with some clear silicon for now. I was going to make a grill like yours but mine of too far gone. Did you use chrome tape to patch up the front?
 
Yes it's chrome tape..pretty much the same stuff used oem. I can make more of those grills on a pre-pay order basis.. They won't be $50 as offered before however...a blank grill cost $35, the tape is $5, then mesh and paint,labor. I'm figuring $75 will be a normal price+sh
