Does the air ride system have a pressure release valve for the overall system on the compressor or anywhere. Please let me know.

Please help. I have seen a mechanic lower the pressure by reaching under the bumper to something. I didnt care before when I saw him do it. Now it is years later and would appreciate the help.

sure he didnt have an auger in his hand when he went under?

Why do you ask?.....is the car high now and won't vent down? If so, this article may help explain whats happening: http://www.americanairsuspension.com/the light is coming on.htm

The compressor has a vent solenoid in the head and each air strut/spring has its own solenoid as well. The main solenoid in the compressor would be kind a hard to get to from under the car though. Just guessing, but maybe the mechanic disconnected an air line to release some air.

:bash:
The question is, Could the mechanic have released the line from reaching under the front bumper?
I could almost swear he did that but we each see what we want to sometimes. BUt thanks to your article you sent me I see that my problem first was the height actuator on the Front driver side was disconnected from the top ball joint. When I looked at the right side one that didnt come off I noticed if was put on with the blade towards me and the faulty one with the blade away from me.
The term blade is from hockey and I am referring to the botton of that sensor.
Which way is correct?
The left one keeps falling off so I have shut off the air ride for now but before I did that I put it back on and drove to a level surface and turned the air ride system back on. The car did not raise any longer but the vent (dryer) must be clogged because it should have come back down and did not.
Problem one: Sensor falling off on left
Problem two: need dryer assembly , that spider thing looks interesting enough anyone use it?

i think i am having EXACTLY the same problem as you. is it safe for me to drive around with the air ride off? could it damage the car? if i leave the air ride off, will the bags eventually vent?

It should not cause a problem unless you have a bag that has a leak.....then it will vent, and will cause a problem....but other than that....No.

I have a problem too??? I just had the right air strut replaced and the car is riding high and very rough.. it seems to max out raising when I start the car and only come down a little bit??
any ideas?
